211 is one of the first certified bulls in the Droughtmaster breed. Selected out of our commercial bull breeding herd, 211 is a mobile1100kg polled sire with a quite nature. He has proven to throw very even lines of calves with his first sons selling well at our 2011 sale as well as many retained daughters in the herd. Progeny available at our 2012, 2013 & 2014 sales.

Billabong Toshi (P) D5

Billabong Toshi was purchased for a record $60,000 at the 2010 Billabong Sale. He was purchased in partnership with the Talgai Stud. We consider Toshi to be one of the best examples of a Droughtmaster Bull bred in recent times with his excellent structure and temperament backed by good objective measurement data including growth EBV's in the top 5% of the breed.

A homebred sire retained from the 2003 drop of calves. Glen Fosslyn 791 has great conformation, large scrotal size and very high growth EBV's. His third and last line of progeny will be offered for sale in 2010. To date 20 of his sons have sold at auction to average $4,250 and to a top price of $12,500.

Glen Fosslyn 05/204 is one of our standout sires. He is a large framed (1000 plus kg), home bred bull ,displaying what we believe to be the modern Droughtmaster sire featuring heavy bone, but polled, tremendous muscling and excellent temperament. Progeny available September 2012,2013 & 2014. 204 has many retained daughters in the stud, with his sons also being popular in the sale ring. He features growth EBVs in the top 1% of the breed.

A yellow homebred sire by Calioran Issac who boasts excellent confirmation and temperament along with a tidy sheath and good fleshing. His growth EBV's are a feature at +18, +25 and +42 for 200, 400 and 600-day weights respectively. Unfortunately due to injury there will only progeny available from this sire on 2010 and 2011.

A son of Bold Baron, 00/147 is a very long, thick and smooth red polled sire with very high growth EBV's. His temperament is second to none with these traits passed onto his progeny. We are very impressed with his progeny with an outstanding draft of eight sons sold at our 2007 sale to average $6,500 and top at $15,000.

Talgai Darcy (P) D5

Talgai Darcy was purchased at the 2009 Droughtmaster National Sale for $35,000. When purchased at the age of 22-months, he weighed in at 792 kg. This strongly polled sire was purchased due to his excellent structure, thickness through the body, large scrotal size (44cm) and because he is a genetic out-cross to our existing herd. His first progeny will be available in 2012.
