Are you looking for performance recorded, structurally correct, quiet, fertile and growthy Droughtmaster Cattle? The Salter family runs between 2,500 and 3,000 head of stud and commercial Droughtmaster cattle in the Glenmorgan and Surat districts in Southern Queensland.
The Glen Fosslyn Droughtmaster Stud, founded in 1988, has a core of seven single sire herds with stringent selection for conformation, fertility and temperament. Chiller assessment of bullocks from our large commercial herd helps keep our seedstock commercially relevant for todays requirements.
Glen Fosslyn is a founding member of Droughtmaster Group Breedplan with our cattle boasting some of the highest growth and fertility figures in the breed. Glen Fosslyn bulls are on the job from Kempsey to the Kimberley.
