The Salter family runs between 2,500 and 3,000 head of stud and commercial Droughtmaster cattle in the Glenmorgan and Surat districts in Southern Queensland. The Glen Fosslyn Droughtmaster Stud, founded in 1988, has grown to seven single sire herds with stringent selection for conformation, fertility and temperament. Chiller assessment of bullocks from our commercial herd helps keep our seedstock commercially relevant. Glen Fosslyn is a founding member of Droughtmaster Group Breedplan with our cattle boasting some of the highest growth figures in the breed.
