Are you looking for proven Droughtmaster cattle to handle Australia's often harsh environment, while meeting todays market requirements?. The Salter family runs between 2,800 and 3,200 head of stud and commercial Droughtmaster cattle in the Glenmorgan and Surat districts in Southern Queensland.
The Glen Fosslyn Droughtmaster Stud, founded in 1988, has a core of seven single sire herds with stringent selection for performance, conformation, fertility and temperament. Chiller assessment of bullocks from our large commercial herd helps keep our seedstock commercially relevant in todays industry.
Glen Fosslyn is a founding member of Droughtmaster Group Breedplan with our cattle boasting some of the highest growth and fertility figures in the breed. Glen Fosslyn bulls are on the job from Kempsey to the Kimberley.
